Nos presentó alguien en común. Empezamos a trabajar juntos y descubrimos que coincidíamos en la
parte difícil: la conversación sobre arte, sobre qué hace que una imagen valga la pena sostener.
De ahí salieron ASPHYXIA y THE FIT, los dos con dirección creativa compartida.Someone we both know introduced us. We started working together and found we agreed on the hard
part: the conversation about art, about what makes an image worth holding up. ASPHYXIA and THE FIT
came out of that, both with shared creative direction.

En un proyecto construye la estructura de la imagen: encuadre, luz, movimiento y el momento
exacto en que una toma deja de ser una foto y empieza a decir algo.On a project he builds the structure of the image: frame, light, movement, and the exact moment

entender qué quiere proyectar una marca, una agencia o una persona, y llevarlo un nivel más

what a brand, an agency or a person wants to project, and taking it one level up without
betraying what they already are.
Trabaja con un método propio de tres tiempos. Observar cómo es realmente el sujeto, editar
desde ese criterio y construir la imagen que proyecta lo que se busca. También escribe sobre
imagen y cultura.She works with a method of her own, in three movements. Observe what the subject actually is,
edit from that criterion, and build the image that projects what is wanted. She also writes
about image and culture.
Yessica llega con el concepto y con la proyección: qué se cuenta, por qué, y cómo se va a leer.
Desde ahí desarrolla la narrativa completa, incluido el detrás de cámara. Dany traduce eso en
imagen y construye la estructura visual que lo sostiene.Yessica arrives with the concept and the projection: what gets told, why, and how it will be
read. From there she develops the full narrative, the behind the scenes included. Dany
translates that into image and builds the visual structure that holds it.
Ninguno hace el trabajo del otro. Ella no toma la foto. Él no arma la estrategia de imagen. Lo
que sí pasa es que ninguna de las dos partes se decide por separado: el concepto y la cámara se
discuten al mismo tiempo. Por eso el resultado no se siente como dos trabajos pegados.Neither of us does the other's job. She does not take the photograph. He does not build the
image strategy. What does happen is that neither half is decided on its own: concept and camera
are argued at the same time. That is why the result does not feel like two jobs glued
together.
